Keith M. Freeman Legacy Foundation is a nonprofit organization created to continue the legacy of the late  Honerable Keith M. Freeman who left a huge impact on his community  by helping men and women within his community strive to be better individuals. Keith M. Freeman Legacy Foundation has established many initiatives including the Legacy Star Scholarship which awards graduating seniors who have excelled in their academic studies additional funding to go toward college expenses.

The 2025 Legacy Star Scholarship will be accepting applications from January 9th 2025 to May 17th, 2025 and winners will be announced on May 30th, 2025.

Criteria for the 2025 Legacy Star Scholarship is below:

- Must be a graduating high school senior

- Must provide transcripts or report card proving student is actively on track to graduate high school May 2025.

-Must provide an acceptance letter to an accredited 2 year college or 4 year university

-Must still be in good standing towards graduation at awarding of scholarship

-Must complete a 360 word essay on one of the following topic: 

"How can completing collegiate studies continue my family legacy?"

"How can completing collegiate studies be the beginning of a long lasting legacy for my family?"

Applications can be sent online or mailed to our address below. All applications must be recieved by May 17th, 2025 to be considered.
